Launching a marketplace in the UAE

The client set out to launch a multi-vendor marketplace in the fashion segment for the UAE market, where buyers expect polished, mobile-first commerce and vendors expect operations tooling that doesn't get in their way.

The Problem

A marketplace is three products, not one

Buyers need a fast storefront: catalogue, search, cart, checkout, and order tracking that work flawlessly on mobile.
Vendors need an operations product: onboarding, catalogue and inventory management, order fulfilment, and visibility into their payouts.
The marketplace operator needs control: vendor approvals, commission rules, order oversight, and dispute handling.
Money movement ties it all together — split payments, commission calculation, and vendor payouts have to be right on every order.
